Really tired of playing the same three maps in all big team playlists bc no one has the dlc. Can we please make big team skirmish dlc required?! I mean, what did i pay for these maps for if I can’t play on any of them? I can’t be alone on this… Right?
Yeah… I bought all of the maps recently since I just got back into H4. I haven’t played a single one yet
They had a DLC (Crimson) playlist last week.
Population was low on it.
Agree we need to see DLC more. Make all DLC maps available in their own playlist please
Friends keep telling me to buy the dlc. “Oh it’s awesome, many noobs in dlc playlists.”
Thing is, I don’t want to pay nearly 30 bucks more for this elderly game. Population blows, many of them don’t want dlc. They switch around dlc playlists that are low in pop and you don’t get the full experiece.
I will get Champions dlc, but because it actually appeals to me and is advertised well. It is too far in the game to be spending much on a game, I don’t like as much I would want to. They wont be showing up anytime soon. Don’t care how fun they keep telling me the maps are.
It is really difficult to make a DLC-only playlist, simply because all 3 DLC packs are designed for a certain style of play. For example, Crimson is based on Objective play, while Majestic is more of a competitive Slayer map pack. Castle is a little of a mix between Big Team Slayer and Big Team Objective (the only exception being Team Snipers on Daybreak).

Have fun finding matches if BTskirmish becomes dlc required.

Skirmish only has four maps I believe…
It wasn’t a prob in reach until 343 took over. Remember squad dlc? The 6v6 on nothing but dlc. Mix of objective and slayer? Best playlist for me and my friends. Then 343 piped in and said that’s not cool and took it out.
Give the DLC maps away for free, then I might be able to play them once in a while. As it stands, they were a complete waste of money.
Rather than totting around with specific DLC pack playlists, they should just put these two playlists up,
DLC Skirmish - 4v4
DLC Big Team - 8v8
Larger maps in the 8v8, and smaller maps in the 4v4. Both would contain a mix of slayer and objective, and feature a couple of Forge Island maps.

This. It’s kinda unbelievable they are still going with the same DLC model (Considering Reach’s DLC was handled so poorly). As of now, every map pack just divides the already small playerbase even further and we hardly ever get to play the new maps.
I’ve bought two of the map packs and would have no problem if others would get them for free (with the gold subscriber gift thing or anything like that) just so we could actually get to play on them.
I know it’s a business and they need to make more money but it would be some positive PR for a change and might even help with the population a bit.
Put in a game search filter in Halo 4 MM, Problem solved.
