I saw a video that listed the playlists in H4 as of right now…
And Doubles is not one of them… what gives?
I’ve been a big fan of Doubles since Halo 2 and I’m sure a lot of you have been as well.
It’s fun for both casual and competitive play, and is one of the only playlists that you can still quickly find a match in, on Halo 3. If they keep doubles out of Halo 4, it will truly effect my overall impressions of the game and of 343i. If you are a “lone wolf” player, the gap between a free-for-all playlist and a 4v4 or 5v5 is just too large. There needs to be that playlist that fills that space in between. Such as Doubles or multi-team (which is also not shown in the video I saw)
Do you guys think this playlist (hopefully along with some others…) will be included in the day 1 update?
Also, DISCUSS and share any thoughts you have about this. I’m sure some of you are pretty upset about this as well.
I don’t think the playlists are final yet, regardless of what you’ve seen in the playlist. By the way, I think those playlists were just a placeholder that they shoved into that video.
If those are the playlists, there’s very little of them, and there’s no much variety. They’re just gametypes…
No surprise really, considering how large the smallest of maps are purely to accommodate sprint, which to my seems pointless because sprint is apparently there so you can travel across the map quicker, yet the maps are made bigger, so how will that make getting to things quicker? The maps are larger so things will be further away surely? I don’t get it really.
I’m a huge fan of multi-team in Halo 3. Me and my friend primarily play that because we can be a team but the majority of people you run into are enemies.
It’s not exactly surprising, considering the smallest map in the game has twice the playable space that Guardian has, and Guardian isn’t even a small map.

Where was any Matchmaking Playlist shown in the BTS video?
