Really... The Wasp

I was exited to finally hear that a UNSC air vehicle was coming to halo 5 but upon farther inspection i was disappointed; I know that many people wont agree with me but I think that they could have done better. First of all It has one seat, I think an air vehicle with more than one seat is needed. many people would have liked to see a vehicle return form a past game (one with multiple seats). It would have been so easy for them to take a hornet or falcon form a past game but for some reason they didn’t do that. Come on, add a hornet or a falcon or anything with more than one seat.

Passengers or gunners wouldn’t work. Gunner for warthog already gets shot out plenty of times.

why complain when they’ve added what they said they would?

I think It would be harder to be shot out if you are flying.

I’m satisfied with what they added in.

I bet a lot of people are but I am just saying I am only sort of satisfied.

You guys do realize that, with this vehicle being in Warzone, having it function like the Falcon or even the Hornet would just scream “Triple Kill”, right? I mean, maybe if it was in BTB where power weapons like the Splaser, rockets, and railguns were timed pickups, the vehicle would work. But with everyone having the capacity to call in anti-aircraft weapons virtually at-will, a fully loaded Falcon or Hornet would get absolutely shredded before it could get halfway across the map.

At least Warthogs have the advantage of being a ground vehicle and thus a low profile, and highly mobile with plenty of cover to duck behind. But without an evasive maneuver mechanic like the Banshee and the Phaeton have, a multi-person aircraft would just be too easy a target to dismantle.

Be happy we got the Wasp. At least it can likely compete in Warzone.

I might call some in with caution though, having an air vehicle out is like having a giant target on your back.

You know what? Your right. Let’s just toss it out the window because they obviously -Yoinked!- up. Send it back to the drawing board because we already have 5+ threads saying that this new vehicle needs to be babied up. Let’s make 15+ more threads in the next week to make sure they know the delete this abomination.

This is what I’ve been thinking it will get absolutely shredded in warzone hopefully if they add maps to btb later on they will incorporate the wasp into the map because its a forgable item.

That’s why we can’t afford to have the Falcon, or even the Hornet. No fall damage? No incentive to stay in the gun. And getting team-mates in the first place to even have a vehicle that can shoot? No way. Finally there’s the solution of putting a gun on for the pilot, but then nobody’d wait for gunners.

The Falcon would never see its intended use, and by the time it did you’d be giving the enemy team a triple kill. It is simply not a viable vehicle for Warzone, and if it ain’t gonna work in Warzone for one player, they ain’t gonna add it- exception being the Warthog, but the Warthog is a staple of Halo since time immemorial. They’d never dream of removing it.

Are you implying that the wasp will have an evasive maneuver, I don’t think it will and a falcon or hornet will be as easy to destroy as any other flying vehicle without an evasive maneuver; And they could give the Falcon or Hornet a shield like they gave the banshee a shield or just create a new vehicle with three seats with an evasive maneuver and/or a shield.

Build a bridge and get the -Yoink- over it.

There will be no hornet or falcon coming.
