i knew you had to have Xbox live to play multiplayer but even for custome games you have to have Xbox live. That’s insane just to be able to go to customes and check out a map myself I need Xbox live. That’s basically saying I own everything on my disc but if my Xbox live runs out then I don’t own the maps anymore. That’s insane
They should atleast allow you to go into custome games without Xbox live
Come on, you spent $60+ on halo 5, and you can’t spend $60 for Xbox live gold per year, we live in an era of online, if you can’t spend that much then what’s the point of spending $60 on campaign alone?

No I have Xbox live that’s not a problem for me. It’s just the thought that pretend I couldn’t afford to renew it ( wich I can) then I have no access to the maps at all. It’s like losing half the game

Well, there’s Forge that will also become inaccessible. That could really suck.

If Custom Games is inaccessible, Forge would very likely be too. And to answer your question, yes. I do that, in all honesty. I go into Theater and take some sick screenshots as well. I take screen shots and video’s of my maps too. Not only that, what if I want to go out to my grandfathers cabin, where I will not have any internet connection at all? I want to play some Halo, so I bring Halo 5 and my Xbox, just to find out I can’t forge or look around a map?
That’s what I mean it should be offline atleast that portion of game
