At this point battle royals are overplayed. By the time the game comes out it will be even worse.
My take on BR in Halo is this. If they give players the tools to make it in forge then I’m okay with that. I just don’t want a huge focus on BR leading to reduced resources for other areas of the game that we all already expect to be top notch.

This. Let players create it in forge, but don’t divert resources to creating something a lot of people don’t want. Put everything that makes a Halo game a Halo game in it first before worrying about giant new additions.
I hate battle royale games, they’re just not for me. I prefer Big Team Battlefield and Conquest (Battlefield) type gamemodes where you don’t have one life.
Doubt they’ll do Battle Royal. I’m sure they have wayyyyy to much going on over there at 343 to even worry about having a BR mode. They’re for sure going to focus on getting all the core Halo modes and features down first before they even consider it. Remember when Halo 5 launched without Big Team Battle? Yeah, they won’t make another mistake like that again.
Please god no. I mean people making In forge is one thing but diverting resources to make it something for halo would kill me.
I’ve heard they didn’t have an intrest in Battle royales. So I wouldn’t worry to much.
However who knows. Maybe a battle royale will be were the completely monetize the gameplay to keep it out of everything else.
I feel the same way, though I was thinking, IF they were to do a Halo style battle royale game, it could be done as ODSTs. You drop in on drop pods solo or with your squad and go from there. Though it would also have to be it’s own game, which could be done much sooner to catch on to the hype of that game mode. I wouldn’t want it in the main line games.
I agree. Leave Halo as it is and let other companies drown out the Battle Royale genre
Pretty sure I remember Frankie being asked about Halo having something relating to Battle Royale on twitter and he pretty much said “No” so, I don’t think you’ll have much to worry about
I’m not buying if it has a battle royale mode even if they change it like cod did and try to haloize the battle royale mode in not buying keep it to custom games
343 has said in social streams that they aren’t currently developing a BR game. So I can assume that Halo Infinite won’t have BR.
