i love halo to death but this -Yoink- is getting way out hand i mean 343 how do you honeslty expect us to win a match when 2 out of the 4 people that are on your team just leave within a few minutes of the match starting. TO make matters worse you penalize us if we decide to quit becuase we all know the chances of you winning a 2 v 4 are slim to none. Not to mention the spawns in this game are the worse i have ever seen on xbox dont know how many times i have seen myself spawn right in front of a enemy and melees me in the back or i spawn and before my gun is even raised up ive got 3 people at me and i die. FIX THIS BS 343 LIKE SERIOUSLY you guys can release a update for forge but cant fix the -Yoink- multiplayer online like seriously. its already bad enough that the ranking system in this game makes no sense what so ever and that my rank is effect by the people that i play with if they actually stay in the damn game. I love halo however this -Yoink- is starting tho make me hate this game more and more and more especially becuase you get followed around the map by some random person who somehow knows where you are going to spawn. like 343 getting spawned in front of the person who killed you with the energy sword before is not fun spawning in front of him again like wtf fix this immediatley cause millions of people are tired of this -Yoink-. OH and for the people who tell me that if i dont like the game dont play it i love this game but -Yoink- like this that they refuse to acknowledge is starting to make me hate it more and more everyday
Right there with you. I was playing Slayer on the Rig today and had two players quit about 1/4 way through the match, me and the other remaining guy fought with all we had against a team of 4 to the bitter end to lose a heartbreaking 49-50 match. Almost punched my tv.

Because then that would just encourage even MORE quitting. Halo 5 is meant to be a competitive shooter and ending a game with a different team than what you started isn’t competitive.

What is competitive about 1 v 4? Keep the ban in place for quitting and replace players.
Yeah, the quitting is a major, major issue. It’s my opinion that CoD, Battlefield, and other such type games have conditioned people into believing that it’s perfectly acceptable to quit at any time. I’d like 343 to implement at system that matches quitters with quitters and if you want out you have to stay clean for some certain number of games in a row. I might even go as high as 30 or 40 games.
Please do not implement JIP 343. Just match quitters with quitters.

But then people would join games where they would be down by 20 or something. Then they would get deranked for a loss that they were barley there for.
Ranks and JIP don’t go together.
I cannot begin to count the amount of times people quit out as soon as the game “looks” like it might go sour. It’s frustrating. I mean I can have fun not winning especially if the game is close. Ultimately though it’s not enjoyable to consistently be playing with people that don’t try or simply quit.

So true. I’ve even won two or three 3v4’s so c’mon people! Stick with it!
Never won a 2v4 or 1v4 though.

Spoiled sports taking the game too personally. Or who knows, they might be busy and had to quit. Or got DC’d.
There really are some disappointing player behavoirs in gaming these days. They’ve been happening for years, it’s just kids and selfish idiots.
Quitting, betraying, no communication. Everyone seems to play Halo the same way everyone plays COD.
Easy solution, make it they can’t quit at all. Ranked arena matches cannot be left, unless you disconnect. Further, ranking system needs to take personal skill into account. My rank drops/start low because of my team letting me down by quitting or going bad ( out of their skill level) the ranking system is part of the quitting problem.
The only time I quit matches is because central dispatch gets a call and sends my fire department out to the emergency.
I never quit no matter what the odds are and I always get 1v4 bease of people quiting gets annoying
