After taking a break from Halo for a number of months I recently started playing again. I have to say this game is a lot more fun than I remember. I applaud 343 because they really have made the game better over time. There are still things that bother me like never playing the DLC maps, the mantis which ruins every map it’s on, active camo, lag etc. But for their first ever game release this is a really great game. I haven’t been on the forums in forever so what is the general feeling towards this game for most people?
Halo 4 is s great game in so many ways.
But it gets extremely boring, which is why I’m not playing it right now.
Some say it’s dead, to others- it’s just getting good.
I play some good games. I win most of them. But not all. And it’s not all LAGS fault 
I have loved HALO since I can remember.
Halo 4 is super fun. It just stinks that I have become so addicted to being a part of it, and with nothing really to show for it. I am SO blood-lusty for the achievements, I take it too far. I have them all now, and that turned out to be the only thing I played for. Can’t wait for the August dlc!!! Can’t wait for the Halo tv series, or Halo 5!

But I think everyone can agree with me that the 1st version of halo 4 sucked. Just like every other Halo game, they get better as time passes.
The game is looking great as it stands right now. But with more content, it’s only going to get better.

Absolutely correct. Without people to play with Halo just isn’t fun. I have to blame that for many of the complaints people have with Halo 4. Halo has always been infinitely more fun with friends, but halo 4 is fairly difficult for me at least, to play without friends.
Sad for all the loners out there.
