So I went and got my copy of Halo 5 this past Tuesday, I had pre-ordered months ago! Got to the house and turn on my Xbox to install the disc or the game to the system! Put on the disc and the installation process started everything was going normal, just like any other game I have installed in my console. The installation process got to 50%, 60%, 70%, got to 85% and after about 10 minutes I noticed it was not going any further, it has got stuck at 85% of installation. So I cancel the installation and decided to give a try the next day! But I didn’t, was busy in other things! So try it again on Thrusday and to find out the same thing, stuck again at 85% of installation! So what I did next, was deleted everything I had install about the game to give it another try to install it today (Friday), and here I am again with no luck, stuck again at 85%!!..really getting me upset and frustrating, makes me wonder if I got a bad copy of the game or if the Xbox it’s mess up or what!..but I want to ask if anyone else is having this problem or had this problem and if happened to anyone else, how can I get this fix!?..Help please, 4 days now since the release of the game and have not even been able to give it try or anything!..Help Help Help!!!

- let it work the last 9gb of the game are downloading. Your internet speeds for downloading a 9gb file is what makes it look like its not doing anything
- just leave it alone for say 4-6 hrs it will get done. (Total installation time)
Ps H5 is a big game
Yep there is a huge patch to download, about 9 gigs, and that is what is making your installation look so slow.
Are you serious!..this is stupid, I mean I know I don’t have the best of an Internet connection or speed but to take 4-6 hours to download, that’s ridiculous!..oh well I guess I’ll give it another try tomorrow!..hope I get to play this game by the end of the weekend!..thanks you guys for the help!
Unplug your power to the cosole for 3mins., then when you start back up sign in, then go to your settings and clear your local save games, then after the restart sign in again and try install. It will hang on 85% for about 10 mins then will install normaly . This is how MS told me to do it and it worked. Good luck
