Before you type the whole “OP doesn’t know anything.” response, read this first.
First; If you aren’t bashing the game and are helping, I applaud you and you have my respect.

If you are bashing, here you go. Read on.

Before E3, I remember the Bungie forums, ala, The Flood, were always bashing Halo 4 saying some stuff sounded good but it would be awful. While on these forums, before E3, everyone had hope and said it’d be amazing.

Now we’ve seen part of the Campaign now it’s all reversed? Most of you are crying over it on here while everyone elsewhere is talking about how great it looks. I don’t know why suddenly everyone on this forum raised their standards, but damn Halo 4 looks great. Now you all are saying “Enemy designs are bad.” or “Halo 4 looks stupid.” How about you all shut up? The game isn’t even out yet.

I remember the threads here saying “Stop the hate! Halo 4 will be great!” Now look at it. Stop complaining. Jeez. 343i did an OUTSTANDING job so far from what we’ve seen. Now you all are bashing it. If you think Halo 4 looks bad then my God you all must think Black Ops 2 is just the GOD Game of 2012. You guys never cease to amaze me. But hey, to the members who aren’t bashing, I applaud you and you have my respect.

I’m probably going to get some smart replies saying “OP is a -Yoink-” or “Really? Tell me what a good looking game is.” or even “You don’t know jack -Yoink-.” Hey kiddos, I have something to tell you. I know a good game when I see it and this game far surpasses good so far.

-__- That’s the end of my rant. As for a discussion; What are your thoughts on Halo 4? I think it looks beautiful. While there are many questions still afloat, they all will be answered in good time and when we all get our hands on the game.

But everyone, you all just got a sneak peak of Game of the Year 2012.

EDIT: It seems so far everyone agrees!(: Yay! But anyways, I’m not sure if you can do this here but I need people to play with in Halo or just new friends to talk to on Live so feel free to message me and say you’re from here and I will add you! It’s always nice to meet a fellow Halo fan and make some new friends!

designs are different, i like them a lot because they look like metroid prime (even the more “helmeted” hud it´s taken from metroid). this is good.

but i understand people that don´t like changes, and elites are a very hard design to beat.

Correct, people are entitled to their opinions. But however, we all know the old phrase “You can’t judge a book by its cover.” And I agree with you. They can post their opinions. I like your openmindedness… Okay that’s not a word but you get what I mean. It’s just one minute these forums are the praising Halo 4 grounds and the next it’s the Halo 4 sucks. Just, no. And as am I, good sir! :smiley:

actually i kinda missed all the complaining, i would eat dinner and laugh at all the people complaining about halo and CoD, I don’t support it but i do miss it :frowning:

I certainly have no complaints so far with all the released info. Its actually the reverse. I’m actually more impressed with the new enemies, weapons, gameplay, and even some new aspects of the new and old content that will be returning.

well we can watch all the noobs fail on easy, as we walk through legendary without a problem, because we acturly know this is good for the game and take the change, i wanted evidence like this to make me admimate the game would be epic and they proved it to me

However, it would be better if they just posted in someoneelse’s thread rather than make their own, this place is becoming crouded with them.

Campaign trailer looked epic. Now I believe that 343 can make the best Halo campaign ever. My major complaint is multiplayer. I really don’t like the direction it’s heading. I want Halo to be an arena shooter. Now my only hope is gametypes without modifications/loadouts (or at least fixed loadouts list for everyone). MP should always have equal starts for everyone regardless of their level. Period.

You have no idea how good Halo 4 is going to be and declaring it “Game of the Year 2012” is so incredibly ridiculous that I could just hear it read in a stupid voice every time I passed over that (obnoxiously red) bit of your post. You’ve seen 5 minutes of Gameplay. Five. Minutes. The campaign is probably going to be upwards of 9 (maybe closer to 12 if they continue their whole campaign of waving a neon green flag that declares “Seriously, guys! We promise we’re not Bungie!”. Anybody who judges the overall worth of a video game based off of a 5 minute snippet of gameplay, some vague campaign details, and a tiny bit of multiplayer clearly has no idea what they’re talking about.

That’s a bit of an overstatement, don’t you think? What was “OUTSTANDING” about their game thus far? It’s not hard to make an action packed trailer, and if you can’t make the first 5 minutes of campaign any good then you probably shouldn’t be making video games. The real test is how the game does after that first five minutes for the next five hundred ninety-five of them.

And then you go and attempt to condescend, who is really, me by using the word “kiddos” to address a person you’ve never talked to or even know exists. Also, “I know a good game when I see it”? You do? Oh, okay. I’ll just take your word for it. Honestly, you need to learn the difference between subjectivity and objectivity before you come and spout off all of these claims about how you “know” for a fact that Halo 4 is going to be “Game of the Year 2012”. The games got a -Yoink–load of competition out there and, just after one year into its lifespan, it’ll have to compete with Bungie’s new game.

The fact that you’re sitting here and pretending that because you’ve played all the Halo games since Halo 3 means that you’re qualified to see 5 minutes of a game and then proclaim to the world the prophecy you have foreseen in your crystal ball about the absolute divinity and awesomeness of this new game and its creators.

who’s bashing? ive seen about 2-3 thread hating on halo 4 after E3 which is amazing compared to previous reveals, there will always be people who will not like it and post about it but i must say i think we had a very very good response to halo 4 at E3 this sight has been a pleasure to browse through today.
