Really. Championship is based off UT?

Whosever idea this was…I hate you, thanks to this crap this whole time I was thinking it was 10CST, or EST even which is like default.

So I go to do my daily crap, come home after having only 9 games played since I missed the start, and only get in 16 by the time it hits 4pm…which is apparently 9:59:59 Ut

So dumb and disappointing.

You’ve had all week (and prior to the start) to read the rules & regulations which have included the end time and time zone for that since the launch.

I knew when it started. I never saw the UT, most tournaments I’ve participated in have always been PST or EST. So naturally out of habit thats what my mind was telling me. Shoot, I had to google the crap just to figure out what UT was converted to CST.

I just wouldnt have mowed my lawn and stuff so early had I known this tourny was based off some random UT times.

Matchmaking updates (and thus tournament updates) are based on UTC. It’s been that way for several games now, actually, as we inherited this schedule from Bungie. Online qualifiers continue for four more weeks, so there’s still plenty of time to adjust your grass cutting duties.

Good luck in the rest of the tournament!

Well, the U in UTC does stand for Universal. If it’s a tournament that’s taking place in so many countries, it would only make to use the Universal time zone.
