So I have the physical copy of MCC and downloaded everything including the the Nightfall. When I play the video/any other video on Halo Channel, the quality of the video is really bad. It almost looks like setting any video on youtube to 144p. Anyone else having this issue?
Also i just had a Halo 4 match through Big Team Battle, and the sounds for the grenades/weapons aren’t being made. Like I asked earlier, is anyone having these problems?

Welcome to -Yoink- silverlight streaming, which adapts the video bitrate to your available bandwidth (which doesn’t even always work)…So microsoft logic is the following: a user rather wants to watch crappy video quality (without buffering) than a HQ video quality with some waiting/buffering time. Makes totally sense…

Same here i was having bad nightfall quality. I tried flipping to xbox video and streaming an HD movie and it was fine in all its HD glory. Then back to nightfall and still couldnt produce anything but crappy quality.
It’s just annoying to watch Nightfall with the bad frame rate that it shows for me. I do not have any problem to watch HD content otherwise with my connection. Please fix this. The series is almost unwatchable as it is now.
Yeah, and it seems to be getting worse.
I watched the first episode the night it came out and it streamed perfectly in HD without stopping once. I ended up missing the last few minutes and decided to watch it again last night but the quality was terrible. It kept switching between HD and Minecraft every 30 seconds or so for the entire episode. Then I watched episode 2 and it was exactly the same.
Hopefully it’s just another of the (many) problems with this collection and all the bugs will be ironed out soon.
