if you have photosensitive epilepsy, do NOT watch the video in this, thankfully I don’t.
I recently I bought a Xbox Series S, I can’t say if it’s related to an update, all I know is that I didn’t have this issue on my 7 year old Xbox One, and it looks to be specific to Halo Reach in my case.
The problem I’m having is that no matter what game mode it is, these random flashes just happen.
Again if you have photosensitive epilepsy, do NOT watch this video

I can’t watch that video without signing in. Can you change that? You could set it to be unlisted so that only people with the URL can view it, if you want.
What were you doing in Reach when this happened? Is it in Forge and on forge objects? Does it look like a “triangle” or “rectangle” got stretched in a crazy way?
I changed the restrictions on it, should be viewable now using the link.
I get the issue in Campaign, Custom Games, Forge, and Firefight, the one showed off in the video is during a custom firefight, and it’s the worst case that I’ve recorded, It’s like multiple flashing white triangles.
Wow! I’ve only just heard about other people having this problem. I’m surprised that this is happening on console. Thank you for the video, it’s a very cool effect.
I’d suggest sending a bug report to 343i with this form:
https://aka.ms/HaloSupport
It’s a little dinky, but they do get to everyone. You’ve got video evidence of it which is even better. 343i often doesn’t respond fast but they do use these reports to figure out problems and strategize about what issues to fix.
I’m having this issue in campaign too on Series X.
thought it was my console aha
i have a series x and when playing reach campaign experience this too,was playing local and it seems worse than not local
