really bad day

Today is the worst day I’ve played in Halo 5 yet. I lost almost all my games but two today. I like this game but unfortunately I am wondering where the balancing is going to come into play. It’s as though they put me on the noobs team every time and no matter what I do we lose. I was wondering if there are any suggestions on what I should do. Unfortunately I am a lone player with no friends online to party up with, so that suggestion is already out the window. Forgive me I just am very frustrated today when I would like to play halo 5 and I can’t even win a single game. This is the worst day I have ever had in almost any multiplayer game.

Welcome to sweaty Halo my friend. Not really much that can be done until they work on the matchmaking a little more.

This happened to me the past few days… stick through it man. It’ll get better for the both of us.

I had some -Yoink- rounds too

You can check my last previous games. To be honest it’s almost overwhelmingly disappointing.

I’m wondering this too. They talked about balance before the initial release and said that warzone would have people of similar Req Collection matched against each other in attempt to balance the amount of high end reqs on one team.

If they add a social playlist for every game type that would be good. That way the competitive players have what they want which I do very much enjoy. But the more casual players aren’t always being destroyed because they are being match made with the sweaty try hard competitive players.

I’ve been on a streak of mostly losses since yesterday’s update :sob:

Ive had my rough days to man, all we can do is power through it.

Just add players from previous games, invite to fireteams, start talking, and hopefully you’ll gain a group of online friends that you can play with regularly.

Just relax a little and take a break from Halo. After you have done that go back to your Xbox and hope back on some Halo. take it slow first and play some Warzone because its not as competitive as arena. Once you play a couple rounds of that try to get back into arena. It should reset to were you start getting more balanced teams. Just keep trying, we all have our moments.

This is what frustrates me the most about Halo 5’s multiplayer. I often get matched up with horrible players, who don’t know what the heck they’re doing! I’m not saying I’m really that good (at Halo 5 mind you), but I mean come on! I played a swat match with a guy on my team who got 1 kill, and 15 deaths! And whenever I hop into some BTB or whatever the “social playlist” is, my teammates never try to go for the objective.

Get yourself in an active spartan company. You’ll find people to play with

I’m in an active company, but no one is ever on when I’m on.

These things do happen, i tend to try a different playlist when i have a couple bad games. Usually works.

i know that feeling… even when i partner upp with my friends 2-3 ppl, and we go for the bosses the rest of our team (random ppl) just fool around and do nothing…
And the enemy team come bumrushing 4-5-6 ppl and overpower us or take out the boss with the last shot.

and no mather what… we just cant win the game due to the other teammates on the team… i feels like beeing Onyx lvl and the rest of the team is bronze… =/ =/ =/

It happens bro, everyone has a terrible day from time to time. I did okay last night wins/losses wise but my personal performance was terrible K/D wise (not that this is the most important thing).

Halo is a competitive game so when I’m playing badly or on a bad run I try to use the same psychology I use for sport. It’s easy to start trying TOO hard, try to do TOO much. Slow it down, go back to basics, play with your head rather than trying to force the matter. If Arena is proving too frustrating go and play some Warzone, kick back, have a beer and relax and just enjoy the game again in a less competitive environment.

If you’re in Arena, make sure you’re talking, even if nobody else is if you start talking I find that people often pick their mics up once they hear someone else. If you get matched with or against a good player, invite them to a fireteam after the game.

If you’re still having no luck and getting frustrated, just take a break. Go and do something else, watch TV, go for a walk, whatever. Just go and relax yourself and come back fresh. Once you start playing bad it’s easy to get into a try hard mindset and try and correct your mistakes too quickly and that just makes things worse and worse. Sometimes your mind just needs a break from it.

No worries it happens, it sucks when I get put on a team of silent noobs. I don’t mean to be rude, but since you mostly play alone you should try playing FFA sometimes, it is for lone wolves. For team modes it is very random when you play alone, some days are good some days are bad. I suggest you try making a few friends and at least when you see them online you can queue up to join them, it makes team modes more fun I find. Good luck

Wednesday I lost 5 warzone games in a row …
You know, when you see a teammate runnning past our armory that is being captured, just to get crushed by a hunter, questions arise.

Besides, I looked at some player win/loss ratio, and it is often between 40-60 %. My bet is that when you have a good ratio, you are team up with spartan who have a low ratio…

It’s even worse when YOU’RE the one who draggedyour team down… you’re just having a bad game, and you manage to pull off a disgusting 3-12… ugh… I felt so bad for my team.
