I love halo and everything about it but 343 is really pushing it, I play solo most days but it’s unbelievable how many teams I get put up against… which leads to my team get demolished & yes I get that it’s called team arena and slayer but it’s a majorly unfair advantage, why can’t they match teams against teams and so on? I really don’t get it.

I’m pretty sure they try to, but that doesn’t always mean it happens. Which makes the most sense to me.

Yeah, Bungie had a pretty good system for that in Halo 3. If you had a team of 4 it would find another team of 4. If you were searching solo it would find other solo players.
This could also be because Halo 5 has so few people playing it that it has to match with whoever is immediately available.

Yeah, it tries.
I swear I read a comment, that stated one of their goals for H5, after MCC debacle, was to provide fast matchmaking times. Which they have provided, but it seems they sacrificed the party restrictions that should be prevalent in all playlists. I’m pretty sure the initial search, is looking for other parties, but if it doesn’t find a match within a certain time, it then searches for closest rank/CSR (I believe).

Yea I don’t know what to tell you man. I play solo a lot, but I don’t have too much trouble (I’m also pretty laid back about my stats/ranks).
I’d say try playing some of the social games or warzone, seems like those are much easier for solos
Plug your mic in. I solo every game I play, and if you just use your mic to call enemies and your position, you’ll get other people talking too.
If you go off game topic at all you’ll get d-bags spamming their mics.
Doing well solo isn’t hard, you just have to play at the top of your game every round. Check out my record if you want. It’s not as good as it would be with a fire team, but I still have a positive kd, and a positive win ratio. That’s all you should really want right?

Believe it or not I do,I have my mic in every game and do call out but the majority of players are in party chat so that defeats the whole objective completely bro

The majority of players are not in party chat. I look at that stuff too. Yea there are players in party chat some times, but it’s not the majority.

For the most part the team matching is pretty even. Very rarely do I see a team get killed because of an “unfair advantage”.
