I like my big team, don’t get me wrong but there’s already so many big team maps in comparison to how many 4v4 maps there are.
Alas I saw this coming anyway just judging from the castle artwork and I know these maps were all playable before November 6th and the more content for the Big Team crowd the better, but there is a serious lack of small maps in this game (even considering Majestic) and plus there really needs to be one flat forge environment for the forgers to makes decent maps so if you are planning on any more DLC after this map pack (which I doubt you are). It’d be nice to see some more 4v4 maps, some more weapon skins and armour customization and a new forge environment (a large flat one).
It’s funny but I remember with Halo 3 it wasn’t till 4 months after release that we got the first map pack (the heroic map pack) and here we are with Halo 4 5 months after release and we’ve already had 3 map packs, which is cool!! but don’t let it be the end, at least announce that your considering new maps so people know they’re on the way!.

I think these maps are going to be structured for Dominion for sure. Extraction likely. BTB, definitely.
I too am hoping for an all flat Forge map. I’d like it to be an Island map. That would create immediate barriers. Though the island could be HUGE and we could then forge our own small/medium/large maps out of it from there. As for the terrain, there needs to NOT be any tall grass or flowers, etc. Nothing that would show through any Forge elements. As well, I’d like an al space map that was completely absent of anything (except far off graphics). Then in forge there would be a center point, kind of like that small one in the middle of the building on Impact, to show where dead-center of the map is. As well there would be some markers within forge that would show the outer boundaries of the map, but wouldn’t show up in Matchmaking/Customs.
I’m glad that we’re getting these Map pack. I just hope this isn’t the last one either. There are PLENTY of Spartan Fireteams that were named in Halo 4 that could be made into DLC Map Packs.
Why is everyone so surprised about the maps being large? Did everyone forget about the concept art that 343 released before the game shipped of the first 9 dlc maps?

If the next map pack dose not have some kinda forge setup I’ll start to get a bit mad, but things are pretty much working out the way that they said it would in interviews about the dlc and from the artwork.
I think everyone should know that I and other 4v4 fans are well aware it is hard to make decent big team maps in forge at the minute (Even with a large flat workspace) big team maps are never really great when made in forge. Forge is kind of ideal for 4v4 arena maps that the competitive community can make themselves. So 343 making specific maps for the big team community more so than 4v4 maps does kind of make sense.
With that said there is still going to be a uneven balance once the Castle map’s come.
I may have reached SR130 but, i think i rather play all DLCs on custom, get accustom to them, then play them on MM.

I don’t understand what you’re saying here at all. What does being a 130 have to do with playing in customs to get used to the maps before you play in matchmaking? Am I just reading this wrong? Sorry, I’m a bit tired so yup… 
you do realize that the most popular play list is big team battle right? More big team maps makes perfect sense.
