For real though. It’s probably the most pressing gameplay issue at the moment. Because as it stands now, the game gives you essentially ZERO information to help you keep awareness or locate enemies or track their movements.
Its not like I’m using some cheap headphones or anything like that - I’ve got the new Astro A50s, which work great for everything. Except this game, for some reason.
You can dead-on sprint around people, clamber, reload, -Yoink!-, make dinner, change weapons, change your armor, grab the flag and start running with it, make love to their mother all right next to someone and they won’t hear ANY of that other than the " Flag Taken !" alert.
It seems like such a glaring omission I’m not sure if it’s a bug or a deliberate choice by 343. Like I know the game isn’t supposed to be Siege or HUNT, but " Sam Fisher in a Monastery during a do not get detected mission " is a little overboard too.
