I am not just talking skins, but the Warthog, Rockethog, and Razorback seem to have no real reason why we cannot put the cosmetics we unlock for the Warthog on the Rocket or Razor Hogs.
Why can’t I put my windshields that are the exact shame shape on my Rockethog? Why can’t I put my bumpers and wheels on my Razorback?

Because armor cores also don’t have this “feature”. Why? Maybe 343 knows lol.

I was wondering this too. I am also curious as to why vehicles and weapons don’t have more slots for customization. Want mud flaps, then no horns for you. I don’t have either, but I’ve heard people who do feel frustrated by it.

I can choose my windshield, my bumper, my hood ornament, mudflaps, and wheels; but NOT all at once.
Same goes with the AR.
Cheekrest, barrel muzzle, and AR ornament.

Lol is this even a serious question? It’s the same reason we can’t put the same coating on each armor core without buying it or unlocking it three different times. It’s an artificial way to pad the games content and make you “feel” like you’re unlocking more stuff
But armor coatings are something that has to be applied to different models.
The Mark V Bravo and Mark VII are similar but not the same. The Yoroi armor is very much different models from the Mark V Bravo and Mark VII.
The Rocket Hog and Warthog are 90% the same models, beat-for-beat. The only difference is just the turret.
Unlike the Razorback, the other two hogs are the same frame. So all cosmetics used on the Warthog should be available for the Rockethog. And yet, no such cross-compatibility exists despite it being the easiest thing to implement.
Right…. Cuz they want to be able to sell you a specific coating 3 or 4 different times. Just because the models are similar doesn’t mean the reason for why they did what they did changes
Arguably, it would make people more likely to buy the bundles if they were more customizable.
Wheels being exclusive to the Warthog seems inferior compared to wheels available for all the Hogs.
We’ve seen skins available cross-vehicle. Some skin bundles give you skins for all the hogs and even the Mongooses. But the inability to put my wheels or hood-ornament on other vehicles that are essentially the same seems to be an odd choice.
Oh I totally agree with you. But again. Splitting different cosmetics three ways means more money for 343 in their brains. But I agree that putting cross vehicle cosmetics in there would offer a greater purchase incentive
