So in the red vs blue halo 4 release date video I noticed the orange armor…
I realize it is too late in halo 4’s development, but I didn’t think to post this earlier.
Please make the armor colors in halo 4 include a TRUE black, not that steal crap in halo 3 and Reach.

I realize that black would screw with people’s vision or serve as a strange camouflage or whatever, but there are ways of making it work…get creative.
Black is too awesome to leave out.

Reason: balance.
I always thought it would be awesome if they gave you an actual color wheel or something along those lines. That way you could literally pick a unique color that would be pretty hard to copy. I don’t know if it would take too much space or effort to implement though.

If that’s regarding it being camouflaging, then why the hell is green in the game, and brown? Balance, my -Yoink-. I would love to see black in the game.

I would like this! my problem with it is that too many people would use it, but what ever, too many people use steel right now so why not just give us black.

Let me clarify. Part of the armor is always black. If one part is black and another part is green, there is contrast.
Contrast amplifies your ability to perceive images and motion. You cant read white text on white background.
However, when the whole armor is one color, especially when that color is black, it will blend in more easily.
Also I think there is a reason for there being swatches rather than a color picker, but if they can make it work, they can make it work.
