I’ve recently decided I would like to start reading the Halo novels. Is there anyone on these forums who can help me out and tell me which order I should read them in and which titles I should read to maintain a full knowledge of the Halo world?

I’d personally start with The Fall of Reach and read the flood and first strike after that. Harvest is also a good one, but doesn’t need to be read in any particular order.
The first trilogy, the Forerunner Saga, Ghosts of Onyx and the Kilo-5 trilogy are most relevant to the game’s story, in that order.
“The Flood” is optional, though. It’s basically Combat Evolved + a couple irrelevant subplots.
After those are the rest of the second trilogy and Evolutions. I’d recommend them, they’re good.
I suppose it depends on what order you want to read them in.

Sort of. Cryptum, Primordium and Silentium are part of the Forerunner Saga and follow a logical beginning, middle and end. Cole Protocol and Contact Harvest, along with Ghosts of Onyx, are part of a few box sets of the books I’ve seen, but Ghosts fits better in a set with Glasslands and Thursday War.
The Fall of Reach, The Flood and First Strike also follow a beginning, middle and end type of pattern.

It does matter, I personally would read them in this order though but toeach there own.

The Flood (Optional - it’s just CE in novel form)
