After playing with my friends in Team Arena and Warzone i broke off and decided to play some free for all only to be just pissed off from the end of each game.
Every time i seem to kill someone somebody from behind come in and finish me off, now i understand that how to free for all game plays out, but no to this level of -Yoink-.
The maps are designed for eight player combat but on a team scale, you add the no team element that hole game wildly -Yoink- itself. It’s -Yoink- of people scrambling to get the power weapons only to be greeted by guy the camping in the room and the other three players shooting you as they themselves walk in trying to get the chance of four somewhat easy kills. Whereas ill spawn back in and see two people fighting in front of me and quickly snatch them both for myself as they have weakened each other from their own fight, not to be reckless in my approach i will slowly walk around the next corner only to be assassinated by one of the guys i just killed who spawned in my spawn spot not even five seconds ago.
To put it simply, it’s to congested. Too many people at to many places at once. game don’t come down to how good you are, but to how lucky you can some -Yoink- doesn’t -Yoink- up your -Yoink- you while you got your got two people trying to try get you from the front. And i know you will say, “But it’s free for all, it’s bound to happen.” I know that and it should happen, but not on this level. I spawn a second later there is guy right next to me either camping or is walking along and happens to see me. So this ‘skill’ you need to play this game is removed by how lucky you are not getting spawn capped or out flanked by some guy.
To make this less -Yoink-, i would say reduce the player count to six. And i know 343 was trying to go for the “mlg” experience they had back with halo 2, but this isnt mlg, -Yoink- is some this they put together without testing properly to make sure they ticked all the boxes.
But hey i could just go and play team slayer Warzone again couldn’t i? uh, no.
Now that there is a ranking system in place people seem to play this game super seriously, and that completely fine, i do as well with my team.
But you know what? My friends are not always online to play with me. Hell, they want to play Warframe most of the time. So that means i can’t play any team game without them.
‘Oh, but you ask why wont i just play with complete strangers?’ BECAUSE STRANGERS -Yoinking!- SUCK. I have a hard enough time trying to beat the other teams in platinum with my own team, why the -Yoink- would i trust my rank to NO MIC USING people. So you got this hole new multiplayer system and NO -Yoinking!- UNRANKED MULTIPLAYER? HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO HAVE FUN WHEN I TO BUSY TRYING TO WIN?
“Oh but Warzone is unranked just play that man.”
I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking., I didn’t buy this game to ‘just play Warzone’. that -Yoink- gets boring real quick
And i bought this game to have some ‘fun’ so where is the fun at? because Warzone gets boring after three games and TDM is -Yoink- without a proper team and FFA is -Yoink- aswell.
Ill just play Warframe till they fix it i guess.
