On the Mammoth we can also see a missile turret on the platform jutting out towards us, like the one on Reach’s Warthog. This could possibly mean that the missile turret will also return to the Warthog.

However those do look like missile turrets… I hope they are actually good this time around! Halo Reach’s Missile Hogs might as well been called “Big Bouncy Ball Launcher Hog.”

Haha, I looked at it again. The way I paused the video it seemed like the turret was part of the rest of the Warthog. My mistake apparently.

It’s on the side of the Mammoth, he never said it was on the Warthog in the picture. It’s just that it’s possible the rocket hog is in the game.

Hopefully the rocket turret in 4 will have more control to it than Reach’s did.

Also, if you look closely the large crane looking thing on top is indeed a gun, it has a hollow barrel.

Oh, ok. Yeah I was getting confused by people talking about the transport hogs. I wasn’t sure if this guy was misunderstanding or just being a nutter. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

I was gonna say that might be a mini MAC, kind of like the Onager at the end of Reach. Think we’re gonna be able to fire it?
I think so. That thing is just too damn big for matchmaking, but I can see some truly epic set pieces revolving around it in Campaign and Spartan Ops. I’m imagining an A->B run with the mammoth. You’ve gotta fend off air and ground forces using the Mammoth turrets, heavy weapons, and smaller vehicles. Kind of like the Elephant escort at the end of ODST, but your Elephant IS a tank.
