So I just put some numbers into Excel and if for 1 year and 9 months (H6) I spend 3 hours a day, playing nothing but Warzone Firefight Heroic, use boosts to get 10,000 xp per game and assume that each game will take 20 minutes factoring in a 10 minute break for search times n my sanity; this will get me 38,100,000 xp. Being at rank 146 with 9 million xp this means I won’t actually be able to hit max rank before Halo 6.
You need 50 mil in total and even this assumes I can consistently get 10k and only play Warzone Firefight and put in a lot of hours per day.
This is the equivalent of 79 days playtime over 1 year 9 months and I’ve only (he says) got 17 days from 1 year and 1 month.

I’ve read on here about someone who reached max rank in about 6 or 8 months.

I mean they said in the recent news post that they are looking to change some of the XP and RP rewards across the system. I mean I haven’t really noticed in regard to Arena. Played infection and got 5k which with boosts is about what I would expect normally.

It’ll give you a headache thinking about it for sure. I’m about to hit 148 and I’m a majority Arena player but this weekend I did Warzone grinds like I hadn’t since the first couple of months of the game.
I’m at 143 and I feel I play this game a lot. Then I see people who have played several multiples longer than I have and I can’t imagine how one has that much free time.

Right now I’m rank 149 and have to reach 6,000,000 xp to move on the next level.

Hey friend, I am also 143 and feel like I play all the time. I know Ill never get max rank.
I don’t wanna bum anyone out, but going from 150 to 152 is roughly the same xp to get from 1-150.
I thought I would get 152 for sure, but the 140s have been such a grind and knowing that I’m not even halfway there is just ridiculous lol I kinda love it though.

Yep. 149-150 is the same as 1-132 also. (6 million XP). I’m SR149 and I spent every free moment i could playing in 2016. No regrets but don’t really want to spend another year playing nonstop. I don’t see 152 in my future but that’s ok, I still play but not nearly as much as last year.
Just hit SR-147. I literally don’t even want to think about the amount of work its gonna take to move upwards. Oh GOD.
And yet, SOMEHOW…there’s people from Spartan Companies who hit SR-152.

I have a feeling the ones who have hit 152, some maybe not all, got it by just staying in lobbies and not actually playing. They probably just taped a dumbstruck down to keep moving to prevent idle boot. I feel I play a lot of Halo and I have a long way to go yet.

A rare medal boost will give you a maximum of 10 if you’re doing well. It’s crazy, Big team? BtB has crappy XP, so does every other one except Infection. Action Sack is even better than most with boosts lol
