For some reason, TU Big Team Heavies in Halo Reach is making friendly fire extremely difficult. On paper that doesn’t sound like a bad thing, but it’s being abused in an awful way.

Vehicles aren’t immune to friendly fire, but players almost are, which means that players survive when their teammates shoot down their vehicles and never get the betrayal boot prompt.

One player in particular, Redacted singlehandedly made what should have been yet another fun round of BTB into an infuriating mess. He rushed to the Scorpion and then proceeded to shoot down every ally’s vehicle and then destroy the Scorpion afterward. He never helped the team at all, and just waited at the base for the Spartan Laser to spawn while demolishing every vehicle whenever they’d spawn.

Scum like that shouldn’t get the satisfaction of such disruption, betrayal needs to be restored to it’s normal level so jerks can be booted from the game, either that or set up a team vote-to-kick option.

Just making vehicles tougher wouldn’t help, by the way. They can also ram teammates across the map, or off an edge, and get away with it.
