Can someone thoroughly explain to me what happened with the forerunner slip space crystal thing? I read those novels years ago and honestly that part still confuses me.
I guess red what I really don’t understand is did they arrive at reach before they had left or after?
I’ve only read First Strike once, and this plot point is insanely awful, but basically it changed the passage of time for The Pillar of Autumn so that MC and Cortana would end up back on Reach at a time for convenient reunion with Blue Team and the crystal. I just like to pretend that this crystal never existed.
