The Galactic Empire seeks active recruits. Looking for a clan on Reach? Message SuddenHAIL66 or SolarXprism to enlist.
Why should I send a message? What is this “Galactic Empire” going to offer me? How will it benefit me? I don’t just message to join a group off the whim of “Someone said message such and such if you are interested”.
- Messages are a typical means of signifying any potential interest. - TGE like many clans offers players a chance to play with a wider range of other active, like-minded people in customs, matchmaking and raids; with a Star Wars theme/structure. - If one finds themselves searching for such a group, they may see the benefits in joining. - That’s lovely to know.

There is a recuriting section in these forums if that’s what your goal is. Your best luck is to try this link here.

What do you mean, “with a Star Wars theme/structure”?

Exactly what it sounds like, I believe. Its a Star Wars based clan…set in a Halo game.

That doesn’t really clarify anything for me since I never was a big fan of Star Wars.

A clan based on the bad guys from the movies. So, white armor, lots of marching, made-up ranks. At least, Im fairly certain. I’ve never actually crossed paths with one, aside from a single person in one custom game. Couldn’t really hear what he was saying over the four lore fans verbally destroying some kid who thought he knew the history of the series, so this is all guesswork.
Not sure what they’re doing in Halo considering that the Empire would be gutted by the UNSC within weeks…

Ahh…sounds lame in all honesty. Like seriously, some clans or groups take it to seriously. Like, I can see having a certain emblem in a clan, but some go as far as you have to wear certain armors. That’s too much. I just started a Spartan Company myself where you don’t have to change anything. You don’t have to change your emblem/armor/etc. You just join if you want people to game with. And there are no requirements of “You have to be on/play this much a week” or “You have to me a recruiting quota every two weeks or be kicked out.” Cause after all, games are to be fun when played. And people shouldn’t have to worry about having to change something about their profile/player/how they play in order to stay in a group if they want to have others to game with.

I can assure you, it can get even worse than that. Ive been in clans where the leaders assume they can tell people how to live their real lives. You can probably guess how long those clans lasted.
The Company/clan that you described is the most commonly applied model from my experience, and by far the most successful. Some people want structure though I suppose.

I was in a community back when Reach as still big and Halo 4 was on the horizon. UEG is what I think the group I was with. It didn’t seem bad at first. But then little things started to add up. At the end of every week or two, one of the leading ranks would see if you qualified to rank up in the group…mostly by seeing if you attempted/recruited a certain number of players each week. And you always had to be representing you clan, be it in your profile, emblem, armor color. Eventually drama started to spread and I saw myself out before the whole thing went up because it wasn’t fun anymore. Yea, I lost a lot of people to game with, but it wasn’t all that fun when I did game with them.
I am just hoping I can get more members in my group. I only have 2 right now including myself and most of the people on my Xbox Friends list didn’t accept the invite, don’t have a Waypoint account, or they don’t really play Halo all that much anymore. So I am kinda dead in the water as it stands.

Oh Reach, I remember it well…the “Golden Age” of the clan. They weren’t so bad in 3 but something in Reach just…kicked it off.
You may have to go join another group I’m afraid. For the most part, small groups dont get noticed, and anyone who’s part of a larger group is going to stay there until they get the Achillies armor, especially this late into the games release. You can try putting a post in the Recruiting and Spartan Company sections.

Ehh, I don’t really bother with those larger groups. Like you said, all they really care about mostly is the Achillies armor…which I don’t care for. It’s the only armor set I don’t have in Halo 5 and I am okay if it remains that way. Besides, the only armor I’d like to see in 5 would be if they brought back the Raider DSTT from Halo 4 (The armor I am wearing in my current profile pic…minus the helmet). It was essentially the Raider Armor with a digital camo pattern on it. I still haven’t fully unlocked my set in Halo 4. I got the two pieces that required the Legendary Campaign and Spartan Ops completions. The last thing I have to do is complete 1,000 War Game matches and I think I am at 860+ matches.
But yea, I may have to make a post under the Spartan Company section later. (It’s currently 1:30am and I probably should really get some sleep. XD) Anywho, thanks for the chat regardless. It’s nice to have little chats/discussions once in a while that don’t devolve into some kid/pain in the butt trying to get you to think everything they say or do is 100% correct or just constantly complain about the game or something else of the such.

I remember that armor. That thing was beast. I miss the camo from 4 really.
The honor was mine, good sir. You sound pretty chill, I think I’ll send you a friend request. Maybe we can play together sometime and swap horror stories of the Reach clan days.

It’s the only armor set I don’t have in Halo 5 and I am okay if it remains that way. Besides, the only armor I’d like to see in 5 would be if they brought back the Raider DSTT from Halo 4. It was esentially the Raider Armor with a digital camo pattern on it. I still haven’t fully unlocked my set in Halo 4. I got the two pieces that required the Legendary Campaign and Spartan Ops completions. The last thing I have to do is complete 1,000 War Game matches and I think I am at 860+ matches.

It’s nice to have little chats/discussions once in a while that don’t devolve into some kid/pain in the butt trying to get you to think everything they say or do is 100% correct or just constantly complain about the game or something else of the such.

Sounds good. I mostly play Reach these days anyone…though whatever Halo Game I play, it’s mostly SWAT regardless. But yea, sounds fun. If you send a FR, I’ll have to accept it in the morning.

Each to their own. Armour/emblem requirements are rather common among clans, though our group doesn’t require it 100% of the time.

Thanks for clarifying. Why Halo? Since Reach beats EA’s battlefront any day. Lately I can’t say I’ve seen many strong UNSC clans sadly, other than all those players with Spartan gamertags jumping around.

There aren’t any strong clans period. Just people pretending to be them and silently awaiting the internal drama that always break sthem.
Basically we look like storm troopers and follow the lore and government structure of star wars put into a halo reach clan. It is primarily for anyone who is interested in our similarities.
