Greetings!
I’m posting this on behalf of some people of a small community I happen to co-administrate (and also: it’s a French-speaking community, so pardon my English if you may 
).
To keep it concise: we communicate through a public Discord, and today after some suspicious newcomers arrived and PMed some of us, one of our users let me know that his Halo Reach stats on Halo Waypoint were saying that he had completed everything (Inheritor rank, 100% armors and everything), whereas he for sure never has. After WTHing for a bit of time, one of the suspicious newcomer on our Discord told him that there was a glitch on Halo Waypoint that allowed him to “rank up” anyone.
That sounded super weird and not very likeable, until we noticed that at least two other users of ours having the same thing happen to their respective accounts. We thought we may be just stupid and that it may have been a global and temporary bug, so we checked some of our friends -which do not use our Discord- stats, but their profiles seem just fine and normal.
So, this has got me to worry about two things:
- What could possibly have happened here? It seems to us that the “multiple accounts theft” is rather unlikely, but as a precaution I asked people on our Discord to “unlink” their XBL accounts, and our staff is really pondering about telling everyone to change their XBL passwords. - Most important: users who are currently in this situation are worried about getting their account/console banned from Xbox Live, and I would like to make everything possible with you to make sure it won’t be the case.As you may understand, and as those users fear their console could be banned, I’m not in a situation in which I could provide you their Gametags right now, but if required I can discuss with them to provide additionnal information to you, like the estimated time at which we noticed it and so on.

[Edit] I just looked a bit, and we have at least 8 users who seem impacted by this weird issue on Waypoint.
