I think from the start Bungie should have had a playlist or a gametype with no AA’s. Just pure slayer.

There could have been

Pure Slayer: Assault Rifle and Pistol start

Pure DMR’s: DMR with Pistol/AR start

Pure Elite: Needle Rifle or Plasma Rifle

I think if they did this Reach would have been much better. Because if you didn’t like AA’s there would have been a playlist to play.

No one play’s that, and if you search alone, get prepared to match a full team every time, trust me lol

nobody plays it but it’s still there.

However, it failed because it wasn’t “Classic”. It was still Reach, just without AAs. No bleed-through, Sword Block, and Bloom were all still there. If it had been TU Classic… then it would be a major playlist right now. But it isn’t, because it is essentially a half–Yoinked!- attempt at classic gameplay.

To add: the “Classic” playlist wasn’t available for months. It took many people’s complaints to get it… and, well, see above for the results.
