Reach Service Record to MCC

As most people know, it was announced that Halo:Reach would be added into the Master Chief Collection, but this adds a question that I very much would like an answer to, or spread awareness of this concern of mine. My major concern is, Once the game is released to the public, will the current service records of current (or former) reach players be kept over, or will it be refreshed and reset?
The reach servers are currently still up, and the service records in it are working as intended both on the waypoint app, and also here. If they (the development staff) have already answered this question, please relay the information to me, or other people with the same concern. Thank you for reading, this is my first forum post.

So the way it is probably going to work is like this. Whatever your rank is on Halo Reach Xbox 360 version will NOT carry over to MCC. I don’t necessarily know your Halo history but back in 2014 when MCC came out no stats carried over from their original OG Xbox or Xbox 360 versions. I can imagine Reach on MCC will be the same way, everyone will start at the bottom. With that being said, you won’t lose your rank on Halo Reach for the original version but you will have to grind again on MCC. Hope this helps some.

You can rest easy knowing that none of your legacy stats are going to be reset
As noted above nothing transfers from legacy Reach over to MCC Reach, 343 won’t be touching your old stats so at any point you can go look up your service record here on Waypoint or in-game (either on 360 or BC) to see them.

If that is the case, I’m assuming an all new set of Achievements as well for Reach since they didn’t carry over?

The achievements will more or less be the same as the originals, it’s progress that doesn’t transfer

Oh man, trying to get the “If they came to hear me beg” achievement took hours to find the correct timing.

“If They Came To Hear Me Beg” may end up being more difficult for me to unlock than the LASO achievement lol. I can’t put into words how badly I wanted to break my TV and controller the first time getting it in the original Reach
