I’m trying to load a map into Forge I made a while ago, but upon selecting it, it selects a different map. I can load other maps fine.
If I understand this correct, you are choosing a map such as Sword Base, but it loads another map like Reflection?
Or you are on Forge World, try to load XX NINJA RAMP XX and it loads XX BANANA JUNGLE XX?
the second one.
I can load the map it loads instead directly; just not the one that loads the other map.

Can you choose the map ok in Custom Games?
If so, try to select another map before selecting the one you are trying to play, it may solve the issue.
It gets confused in Custom Games as well
Loading different maps doesn’t help; upon returning to that map it still is confused

The map that it is forcing to load on you, is it a map that comes with Reach like Asylum, Hemorrhage or a custom map?
If it’s a custom map, upload it to your File Share, delete the map, try putting on the map you want, then redownload the map from your File Share, please tell me if this works or not.
I could be that you need to re download the map your trying to get in, often times this helps.
the map doesn’t load, it loads a different custom map.
Also, I’ll try redownloading. It’s a custom map I made, so uploading and downloading and removing may help…
Sorry for the double post; but selecting it with X for uploading still doesn’t work, it still loads the other map when selected for upload in the desc.

Apparently, it’s some sort of weird save glitch. As far as I am aware, the inaccessible map is just that – inaccessible, forever. Sorry, mate.
A few tips to help you avoid Reach’s many, many save glitches:
1. Always use “SAVE AS NEW…”. Never use “SAVE”. The latter is buggy, and is widely held to cause the sort of problems you’ve been running into. If the extra files that using “Save as New” produces get in the way, you can always delete older revisions.
2. Never do a Forge-to-Forge join. That is to say: if you’re in Forge, and someone else invites you to their Forge session, don’t join directly. I’ve not seen proof, but direct Forge-to-Forge joins are often said to cause issues with maps being overwritten if someone saves anything. Start and end a match in any other game mode, and then accept the invite.
