Yes, the reach stuff is not exclusive to the reach pack in any way. The reach pack is just a short cut to the stuff. But if you are patient you will eventually get the stuff in the regular req packs for req points and not have to use real money.

Yea I was doing that, but seeing as the only reason I even opened packs was to get the armor, I thought I would save the stress and just spend the $10.

Yes but sadly you could spend $10 and not even get armor necessarily. I can’t recall how much reach stuff there was but I vaguely remember if you wanted all the reach stuff it would have taken more than one pack. So it would depend on how much if any reach stuff you may have on what the odds are you get the armor from the first pack.

So if I were to get the pack would it transfer to my halo account on the Xbox?

Yes, if you purchase any pack for Halo 5 on the MS store, it becomes available for use in the game. That would be on your Xbox.
This pack is now gone though, replaced by the HCS pack - which is actually cheaper (in points) and much more worth it.
The Reach pack items are all obtainable through other packs (gold/silver), whereas the HCS pack items are ONLY available from the HCS pack.
