A friend of mine is having issues being able to play multiplayer. He loads the game up with Easy anti cheat enabled and then signs in with his xbox live account - no problems, however he can’t connect to the multiplayer lobby and when he presses start where the season 1 icon is - it shows offline.
Now on my end it shows he’s on the main menu but he can’t join my lobby and the game won’t let him go into the multiplayer menu. Anyone know why this is?
Same issue here was working fine two days ago, log on today and it’s stuck offline tried restarting the game, steam and the computer. Nothing works. Hoping for someone to reply with a fix soon
Same issue here, it seemed to work just fine when the game first launched, and now I am completely unable to play multiplayer. I just get an error about not being connected to Xbox Live. Just curious, for the others with this issue… are you on Windows 7? I am, and it seems not too many are affected by this, and most of the solutions are W 10 specific.
I am having the same issue on PC (Steam), played this morning and a few hours later I am stuck offline even though I am definitely connected to the internet.
Looks like there’s an outage. It appears to be affecting a lot of people.
Where are you seeing this?
There are several posts about it. If you hit start (I use a controller) it’ll show the Season as Offline.
Sign out of your Xbox Live profile. Click the player icon at the top right, click your nameplate, then click change profile. Sign back in, and that should fix it. That worked for me.

I’ve tried that but I’m still unable to play in matchmaking or join off a friend.

This worked for me, very happy man thank you. If this has not worked for you, make sure to go to windows settings, gaming, Xbox networking and see what it says. Click fix it if you see any issues. If that does not work then go to your command terminal MAKE SURE TO RUN IN ADMIN MODE. Then type in
netsh interface teredo set state type-enterpriseclient
If this does not fix your issue then the server in your area is down.

Ok it works again but I was scared I was using my modded version online and got banned lol but just a server issue

Note for 343i/Windows employees - Issue reappeared on Tues. March 3rd 2020; Fix was same as listed before (relog XBOX Live account)

I’ve been working the forums and blogs for literally months.
I’m on XBox one. I’ve done everything listed on this forum. In options and career of MCC it still shows offline. The ping list in settings is empty.
