I miss my Reach. Saw a list made by IGN (not sure how accurate it is then) of the games being announced for backwards compatability on the X1. Guess what Microsoft owned game wasn’t there :-/

Reach was one of the best. It was my favorite but its only for the 360, I wish they would make it for the one.

Such a dramatic campaign with an authentic appeal to emotion. Rich character development and plot that drove the canon forward, sure do miss the ol’ game. Once in a blue moon I pop it in the 360 and have a blast in firefight!!!

I will be very disappointed and surprised if it doesn’t make it, that should be the absolute #1 title on their list. I’ve just been assuming for months that it was a complete given. Was really, really, really looking forward to having every Halo FPS under one roof. If it doesn’t happen, that’ll be a mind numbingly dumb business decision.
(Presumably a decision made by some suit in a boardroom somewhere, who only sees the perspective of it possibly cutting into sales numbers for Halo 5, and doesn’t care what we actually want.)

I doubt Reach will get remastered, since it’s getting backwards-compatibility. At least we’ll be able to play it on the One on November 12th.

I think ign had an interview up when they first announced the backwards compatibility would work for all first/2nd party games. It wont happen right away but theyll get all of them unless the code just doesnt work for some reason
I loved Reach. I would love for a revival of Reach. The game was my definition of a perfect Halo game.

How accurate is this though? Every other source says nothing officially is revealed until the 9th.
Prior to 343i Reach was my favorite campaign, I do hope that it comes to the one in one shape or another whether through backwards compatibility or remaster.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to not “port” Reach. (Notice how I put port in quotes lol.) It seems like the kind of decision we often get from them. Anyway, if it does make it to the backwards compatible lineup, I’ll be very happy.
I bet if they brought it to the one, they would make a ton of $$$
