So, it’s not out of the question. Good to hear this from 343i.
Rather have a sequel.
I would like an ODST or Wars sequel instad.
as halo junky said, rather want a sequel of some sort, i don’t want 343 just remastering everything bungie did
Spartan Assault was released on Windows Phone, then Xbox One, then Xbox 360, and Steam, and now The Master Chief Collection is going to be released on Xbox One in preparation of Halo 5. While good for the people who didn’t play the games on the original console, I wouldn’t like old games being brought to or remastered all the time. But I do think it is cool that if Reach and ODST release on Xbox One, then now you have every Halo game on one console (other than Wars).
If they do decide to remaster more games, I just hope that they don’t decide to sell them AGAIN on the console succeeding Xbox One. Then we’d have Halo: CE on Xbox, PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and then Halo: CEA on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the new Xbox. That’s overkill IMO, or should I say Killimanjaro because that’s 7 times the game’s been released?

It would be nice to see all Halo games on one console. After all, many people are calling the current gen “definitive”. Just not right now. They can do this later. In the meantime, they should hire more high calliber writers (and artists, for the comics), and do some proper community marketing.
My point is, they should invest on what is important right now.

Agreed, Siul. As I said, I would like to see all Halo titles on Xbox One, including Wars. Even if they haven’t sold it as a physical disc, Halo 2 and CE were available in the Marketplace as downloads on the 360. Microsoft has said that they like to think that “Xbox One really embodies the concept that this is the first device”, and I think that’s very cool especially seeing as how Halo titles are all coming together on one console as well. It provides them a fresh feeling of continuing Xbox but starting a new journey, and the same to players as well.
They need to plan for the future, yes, those other titles can wait for now.
Also agree on hiring writers and artists on the comics.
Perhaps they will release a bundle where it’s those two plus sequels/prequels?
> I wish people would have THIS train of thought on this stupid topic.
Clearly, a lot of people care.
Newsflash: Halo: CE was the sequel to Reach.

hahah are you dumb? this is not true since halo:ce released first… so you are wrong in every way.
I like the digital idea having them as digital releases. Would be great to have them all on one platform. Those 3 games albeit not part of the chief saga, still play an important role in the bigger picture halo lore

He was poking fun at the fact that the events in H:CE take place after H:R…
I would love a remastered ODST but as others have said a sequel would be even better

ODST was fun for sure. Cant quite narrow it to what it was but I think it was perhaps knowing that the fight for the city was over and seeing how it was before H3 picked up.
It would be nice to see both games on xbox one. But we need new games and not remakes. I’m okey with Master chief collection cause of the amount of multiplayer maps and that i haven’t had the chance to play Halo 2.
I think If 343i combined Wars, ODST and Reach onto one disc, it would render my 360 useful except for other games such as BF3. Maybe it can include an ODST 2 Beta and/or Wars 2 Beta. Who else agrees that 343i should make this after the launch of Halo 5: Guardians?
