Reach needs to be more like Halo 3.

And introducing Zero Bloom is a great start.

Next things to do:

Remove AA’s (COMPLETELY).
Add 1-50.
Fix DMR/Pistol to work with 0 bloom.
Make DMR 4 shot (slow down the RoF), although 5 shot is acceptable.
Fix jump height and run speed.
Add new maps that are more symmetrical and balanced.
FIX THE NADES.
FIX THE ROCKETS (holy -Yoink- these things are OP!)

And then you’ll be almost on the way to a REAL halo game.

Follow my advice - get more players.

Maybe I should get a job at 343?

You know you can still play Halo 3, right? :stuck_out_tongue:

no.

Halo: Reach needs to be like Halo: Reach. if i want to play Halo 3, i go play Halo 3.

Agreed.

So? You are basically saying you want another Halo 3? Go play Halo 3 customs with some friends.

i whole heartedly agree

Nah, pretty sure it doesn’t…!

Reach sucks. It doesn’t deserve to have the “Halo” title associated with it. It’s not Halo: Reach, it’s just “Reach”.

Halo 3 is by FAR the better game, but it has bad hosts, bad netcode, lower population and a lot of cheaters. Reach doesn’t have that, but instead, is a terrible game.

I agree with the OP. Reach needs to be much more like Halo 3… The last REAL Halo.

At least 343 will be bringing in a CE pistol…

It just needs to feel like Halo. Not Halo 3, not halo 2, etc.

I agree that we should take Reach and slowely but surely turn it into a game that is a couple years old…wait a minute…that would be lame…whats that?..the game can still be played?..online?..really?Then how come you are not there playing that game which you think is so much better?

Instead of going backwards. Reach should have the features they dropped from past halos. Like dual wielding, every weapon and vehicle. I hate when gaming noobs want to toss out the old and in with the new or vise versa.

Reach needs to be more like the other Halos in general (not just H3) and less like Reach.

I remember halo 3 online bieng fun, but every game of LW or TS I play, modders are flying and cheaters are DDOSing on their ethernet cord wiggiling hosts. Halo 3 is pretty much dead, which is strange, because halo 2 online was good down to the last day. Halo 3 just isnt playable.

But in response to the OP. - NO.

While halo 3 ranking was more competive than halo reach COD ranking, halo 3 ranking encouraged second account boosters and other scourges to the online community. Ever play team swat at a lvl 45 and you’ll know what im talking about.

Arena is the best of both worlds, and reach’s superior netcode holds good games, if only more people had incentive to play (put your division next to your name hint hint)

This ^

Reach is just that alone reach it’s not halo the last halo was h3 reach has gimmicks that try to make it casual friendly which failed so I’d like to see something that resembles a halo game out of reach instead of a gow cod halo hybrid monstrousity

Here is a better idea…in order to get the Halo 3 experience…PLAY HALO 3

Halo Reach has made an upward of 300 million dollars. If that’s a failure, then what does a success look like?

A failure as a halo game, not how much money it made, Most people who bought it, Now either left it collect dust or traded it in already.

Leave Reach alone as it is. Play another game if you don’t like it. C.E.A. is out soon…
