I’her been playing Reach for awhile now, and every game has been lagging on me. My shots are not registering, and even the voting lobby has been lagging. There’s no problem with my connection because I use a wired connection, but has anyone experienced any of these problems or more?? If so, 343i better perform maintenance on Reach, because I’m not moving anywhere close to Halo 4 if that’s the trick they’re trying to pull.
You’re experiencing lag because there are less people playing the game than their was last year. The less people there are, the less likely you’ll find a game with optimal network conditions.
It’s quite common in a lot of games that came out years ago.
Also, just because you’re on a wired connection doesn’t mean you’re immune from lag. In fact, could you do a speed test on www.speedtest.net and post your results here?
“Maintenance” won’t fix Reach’s lag issues, more people playing will.
It may not help much, but in the matchmaking preferences, select “CONNECTION”. It actually made a difference for me as I also have wired connection.
