Is anyone else experiencing small microstuttering in cutscenes and some gameplay? I understand it is launch day, but I’m just a little confused since my hardware is definitely more than powerful enough to run this stuff at max settings with no issue. I’ve tried locking the framerate as well as unlocking it and trying with vsync on and off, but it still seems to be there.
Yeah I’m getting it too, tried different settings at a driver level but no change. It’s ever so slight microstutter at high FPS
Sounds weird but my friend says he’s seemed to be okay after messing with the audio settings

Any idea which settings specifically?
I’m getting it too. Unrelated but the audio sounds muffled as well and not at all what I had remembered. It’s like it’s hallow.

i am getting stuttering as well in some cut scenes and in gameplay really noticeable in combat areas as it does it more audio bad as well like ou guys say
I thought 343 said the game was unstable at frames above 60fps??? Have you tried locking your fps to 60 and changing your monitor to 60hz? not sure if that will help or not
I have microstutter as well. You are not alone my friends

If you’re used to playing at high refresh rates 60hz feels awful, as bad as going from 60 to 30.

Well I remember everyone from the flights saying it was buttery smooth so I’m assuming it’s a new issue.
Tried changing to 60 but just feels stuttery because of the low framerate (used to playing at 144) so I can’t use that as a test.
I fixed it by changing to a locked 60 FPS. Seemed to fix it for the most part

But that doesn’t fix if you’re accustomed to 144+
I have somewhat fixed this by enabling Fast Sync in nVidia Inspector (can be done through the nVidia Control Panel as well).
Yeah, happens to me as well, but I seem use to it due to it being a thing for Xbox.

I’m accustomed to 144+ and a locked 60 is hardly a noticeable difference

Then you’re not accustomed to 144+. 60fps is a slideshow to me.

Sounds like a you problem. 60 fps is more than playable until the unlimited framerate is fixed. Then again maybe G-Sync makes it smoother

It’s certainly playable but far from an unnoticeable difference.
The stuttering is horrific. Closing all background software and trying every combination of video settings does nothing. It feels like it’s skipping engine frame ticks and then back-compensating by making the next few laggy. Movement, animation, camera tracking are all suffering and the game is genuinely unplayable (to say nothing of the input lag).

I was also getting a micro-stutter on objects like there two frames shifted on top of one another. 144hz monitor.
