Exactly what it says on the tin people, its not proven, but its just something i’ve found myself that applies obviously to myself and maybe a few others out there.
So my first halo game was halo 3 (Which I still love) but up until reach I was always terrible at halo. Like really bad. But when playing reach, over time i’ve gotten alot better. Recently I decided to go on halo 3 due to reach becoming incredibly frustrating to me now, much more so than any other game, and I appear to suddenly be fairly good. I’ve been four shotting people etc etc, and I really think i’ve improved, going at least 2.00 K/D nearly every game. Though my halo 3 K/D won’t show that, most likely because it was so bad before that my skills are slowly improving it (I’ve gotten it up to 1.18 now. Wahey!). So yeh this is just something i’ve found.
I’ve also found that the large amounts of aim assist not only help the noobs and downright terrible people to get kills, it also seems to worsen your aim if you’re a decent shot. My aim in Halo 3 is alot better than my aim in Reach. Whether there are other factors involved I don’t know, but i’m most likely not going to return to Reach until Beta hoppers and CEA with the TU.
Lol, it’s because Reach is easier to play than Halo 3. XD
Reach was catered with the noobs in mind (no-offense to you, just noobs who complained about Halo being “too hard” back in the day). For those who’ve never played a Halo game, it was made easier.
Through Halo Reach you will learn the intermediate Halo strategy you never learned during your first Halo experiences in Halo 3. Because those are learned with simple experience.
But Reach will only allow players to break the mold and become advanced players after the Title Update. As Bloom, AAs, No Bleedthrough, and OP grenades all promote unskilled gameplay. Skill being the real difference between having the perfect strategy and being a Halo beast.

Meh, its a well known fact. Don’t know why I could possibly take offense to it, because its a point i’ve brought up myself. Its just the fact that I was terrible at playing halo 3, then I played reach, now i’m good at halo 3? I hope halo 4’s harder. And I reaaaaally cannot wait for CEA and the TU to bring skill back to halo.

I hope so, my friend. I hope so.
