343 How do I get a better connection and not lag all day in Reach. I’m fed up.

  1. If using wireless, switch to an Ethernet connection

  2. Ensure no one is using your internet (streaming such as watching youtube etc)

  3. Check your internet speed. It may be a provider issue.

It is important to note that like Halo 2 and Halo 3 before it, Reach is P2P and one player with the ‘best’ connection is chosen to ‘host’ the game, providing said player with a slight advantage over the others. Furthermore, the system favours North American players and there is nothing you can do about that.
