Due to some god-awful post-support “glitch”, Halo: Reach is literally un-playable.
The “Don’t you quit or we is goin’ ban youz!” Message or whatever-the–Yoink- it is will pop-up…it doesn’t matter whether you’re playing MM or Campaign, it’ll still pop up.
I was in Campaign, walking my buddy through it for pete’s sake (hadn’t even played a single MM game today!), when I get the message:
“You’ve quit too many matches. Quit again, and you’ll be temporarily banned”.
Even if I quit one match, I get banned.
Personally, I blame Bungie’s -Yoink- because they implemented this frickin’ ban system in the first place.
NOTE: The paranoid in me feels that 343i is doing this on purpose to get people to play Halo 4.
Bungie made a FANTASTIC Franchise in Halo. However, they bombed Halo Reach, totally and one hundred percent. Somehow 343 gets blamed for it…
To agree with you op, lag out of a few games and BOOM, your put on probation for 24 hours!!! And if you mess up once, BOOOOMMMM!!! Banned! and put on probation for ANOTHER 24 hours!!! Makes you not want to play…
You were playing campaing co-op online… don’t try and make it sound like you weren’t.
I only been quit banned once… for 15 min… that was during the TU voting days. I wanted to put as many votes as I could. I deserved that 15 min time out.

Thats just a tip durring loading screens. Why are you complainging about a loading screen tip?
You disconnect from online games very often… granted, some of those may be disconnects that are not “your fualt” if so, please upgrade you connection to something that doesnt disconnect you from xBox live so often.
I don’t want to call you an idiot but… really. Quit ban is avoidable, and even when it strikes, 15 min. Thats short enough you can just take a snack break, kiss a girl, play firefight. By the time you were done writing this post, your quit ban was probably over.
Don’t blame bungie, because 343 has a strict one that bans you for 30 min or an hour for Halo 4. So when you whine about a 15 min ban that is easily avoidable, you sound childish.

You’re a -Yoinking!- idiot. Did you not read my OP? Apparently not. And don’t try to sound like some holier-than-thou -Yoink-, because you’re acting like one. Even when I boot up the game, I get the notification, idiot. Now, if all you’re going to do is call me a child, then you sir, can -Yoink- off. This literally just happened to me. I went back to Halo Reach because the population in Halo 3 is too low to play BTB and other fun plalists. And Halo 4 is excruciatingly horrible in its current state. I haven’t played reach ever since November 6, and I got this message saying “you have quit to many games” or some BS like that. So I just quit a match (my team was horrible and the other team was grenade spamming as they moved in a pack) and now I’m banned for however long the first “offense” is. I was an Inheritor back in Reach before I joined XBL so I got severely deranked to a Sergeant as soon as I got online. But me, the 2 main things I care about in a Halo game are the campaign and my own spartan. So I want to get back the armor I had before I joined XBL. But now I’m banned and can’t do that. It’s just perfect.

To be fair, Bungie only decided to implement these measures because so many members of the community decided that quitting wasn’t a big deal.
I know right? Secondary accounts tend to have better stats, because you are matched with “average players” to start… The only time a secondary account has lower stats is because… Well the player is below average.
Not saying you’re doing this or not, but if you’re constantly quitting games, you’ll keep getting banned. Even if you play several games without quitting, it will still happen. And I doubt 343i would do this just to make people play Halo 4 lol
