Any ideas why? Could it be that Thruster Packs on zombies are completely stupid? That the survival aspect for humans? Reach’s infection, on its good maps, was about survival and gradually overwhelming the humans with easy to kill zombies. This could eventually become campy, but it didn’t matter if a zombie died since they respawned soon after.
In Halo 4’s Flood, the zombies are not only capable of flying across the map and instantly respawning, they have shields and a huge sword lunge range. They have a ton of mobility, AND health. Magnums are useless since the zombies move too quickly to kill them in time, so shotguns are the only useful thing. It’s be one thing for Flood to have shields and not have thruster, but to have both is so broken.
How can this be fixed?
the whole game isn’t popular. with only 150,000 people playing on average, flood isn’t going to have many people playing. most just play infinity slayer now.
first 343 needs to fix the whole game to draw people back then they can nerf the thruster pack to fix flood
The dynamic of infection is pretty different than Reach. Shields on zombies, weird AA for zombies, and poor map selection for it (Complex is way too big, for example). Those are my reasons.

Flood has about a tenth of the population of Infinity Slayer’s 20,000 with about 1500 Flood players. I remember Reach’s Infection having about… 7000 players at a minimum vs 50,000 in Team Slayer? I remember Team Slayer being the most popular by a long shot, but that’s probably an overestimation.
This isn’t about Halo 4’s population, which is totally fine at 100k+ and has nothing to do with the quality of the overall game and is more due to Halo finally having competition. This is about Flood being -Yoink!- in comparison to Infection.
