You couldn’t expect this game to just have a custom game browser, some extra canvases, anti air wraith, another type of grenade launcher at launch. Most of them have never even been in a Halo game before and the others are rather insignificant and yet you act like they should have been there. Wat?
I mean, sure, some of those helmets should have been there but whatever… not a huge deal now.

I don’t. Want to know why? Because I’m not going to be getting Halo Wars 2, or at least until it goes on sale on the Xbox store. I don’t care for RTS games, and I’m sure a lot of others here feel the same way. So locking armor for a game we play behind a game we probably won’t play would be a really stupid.

Halo MCC launched with over 200 maps =P
Maps and Custom games browser aside Halo 5 really should have launched with more gametypes. But at least it’s here now I guess.

yes, mistakes happen, possibly due to a lack of time. i see them doing their best to make up for it. the whole “it shud have been released with the game” is getting old by now. its not like they just sat down without doing anything for the past year.

sigh you really are ignorant about anything related to development arent you… especially when we know that the individuals who were in charge and responsible for the programming of mode creation (and therefore the tools needed to modify modes) left the company, which means NO one had the ability to accomplish that task.

And yet I can see them do it to try and bolster sales. Not to mention there were a few H5 armors unlockable thru the MCC (yes they added Helioskrill to the reqs, I know). Maybe playing HW2 would be easier than what they do to obtain them in game.

Those sets weren’t exclusive to MCC though. You could still get them through the REQ system. But if it’s tied to a game with a genre a good chunck of their playerbase won’t play, then they’re out of luck, unlike the Mk VI [gen1] varients and nase Helioskrill.
Also, gaining sales for helmets? I don’t think people are that desperate for them that they’d buy a $60 that they may be unsure of if they’re mainly a FPS player.

We are talking about 343 here. It’s within the realm of possibilities. Yes it would be utterly stupid, but still possible.
