yea none dat here reach isnt bad compared to the worst halo game odst it had a dumb story where you had to find small items to cause flash backs of missions you were not there for
Well I think ODST had the best campaign of them all, mind you. And while Reach is good, it almost destroyed years worth of lore because they decided to “just go with it” instead of following the events that happened in the book.
Also, punctuation is your friend.

I, myself like ODST. Liked all of the halos so far, even if some of them have not been the best they could have been.
I detested odst. Everything about it was…just bad I mean I will admit reach has its issues like the campaign jackel ai that seem to be able dodge sniper rounds and the fact that SHIELDS CAN TAKE MORE THEN ONE NEEDDLE ROUND TO KILL A SPARTAN.
But it was just something about odst that rubbed me the wrong way
ODST had a cool concept but I though the game was too dull, more dull than what it was aiming for mind you. Alot of people enjoy it but I really don’t, and the only saving grace for ODST in my opinion was it’s fire fight mode witch is a really fun.
Never had a chance to try the firefight mode on odst.
And I never tried its multiplayer
how so? almost every review I read or saw described Reach as the best Halo game ever.
most of the guys that complain about Reach are the ones that calls themselves veterans only because they play Halo since CE and 2.
You just have to see the polls around Waypoint to see how many people love Reach…
Most kids who hate Reach play either Halo 4 or Guardians, so that speaks for itself.
I personally love reach it was my first halo game I played. I loved the dark emotional story. The fact that there was a better Spartan then chief ie noble six and great customize features
People dislike Reach for a reason and i’m one let me explain respectfully.
-
Noble Six being the player. Why all this great backstory and he is us? Being Hyperlethal second only to John thats interesting enough where he can be his own person. I like character’s being their own person. He can still be a man of few words but just not be us.
-
Bungie not even trying to make the game and the book match up this could have been easily accomplished in my opinion if a little effort was put forth.
-
Keep Dr Sorvad alive have him hide in a safe room similar to that of the one John Smith hides in.
-
Have Sword Base be his lab and his base since Halsey is at Castle base the entire time.
-
Have the chip not be Cortana but just a data chip with the coordiantes confirming Halo.
-
Have Carter Noble Six and Emile take Saber’s to deliver the Data Chip to blue team. Since the Pillar of autumn never lands on Reach again and can’t due to being made in zero G

Yes the book was very different, the book following from the very beginning of the Spartan program. However this was the story of noble team, I think it was a great start for the custom Spartan that has brought so many folks into the fold to follow the Halo franchise. I do however think that they should reconsider making a reach part two following the original program to the fall of reach. But this may be way past the opinion’s of fans and the dedicated Halo player.

They could have kept Noble Team tweaking the ending and replacing Halsey with Sorvad would have saved a lot of issues.
Oh…oh crap…I never noticed the cannon breaking story elements like why the yoink is cortana on reach she’s a ship ai why is she there same with Halsey wouldn’t she be back at oni by that point. Not on that remote planet for no good reason
To Mr Locke the whole six is you thing never bothered me I always assumed she had her own back story and in fact she does I know I read somewhere that she was like a personal grim reaper for oni

He*
Halo 3 is the best
Not he six can be what ever you want six to be
Reach has the largest playerbase of the old Halos (the ones before 5, not the Bungie ones). It seems to be faring quite well.
ODST is ok, good music, ok story, I don’t like the firefight because I’m not good at it.
ODST is more fun if you set yourself a goal of how you want to play in campaign (i.e., stealthy, kill every covie, etc.)
I love Reach.
The customization was good.

The best IMO.
