Dunno if anyone else is having this problem, but when I play with mouse and keyboard I sometimes get bouts of INSANE input delay and buffering that make moving next to impossible. I’ve tried looking around to see if other people have a similar issue, but it seems like people are only having problems with their mouse. To be clear:
- When I move, sometimes the delays won’t go through, and they’ll be buffered to the point that my hands will be off the keyboard and my character will continue to move around.
- The problem is ONLY with my keyboard. My mouse movement is just fine.
- I do not suffer the same issues when I use my controller.
- I do NOT have Razer Cortex
Having the same issue. Mouse works fine but when I press a movement key, everything freezes until I release the key. Then I ‘teleport’ to wherever I was pointing. the longer I hold down, the further I go. Really frustrating.
Edit: This is not a transitory thing either. This is constant. I cannot move normally with keyboard controls
Ok, I’ve solved the problem (at least for me). The issue was my joystick. I have an X-56 Rhino and after I unplugged it, the keyboard started working fine. Anyone else experiencing keyboard lag / buffering - check that you don’t have other input devices connected that may be interfering with the keyboard input.
Im having the same problem but not to the extent you are. Mouse is fine but the keyboard is between .5 and 1 second off. Im playing on a laptop if that matters.
im finding it really hard to move with m&k, i dont remember reach being this clunky. im finding the keyboard delay to be quite bad, even to the point where theres a second or so delay in me bringing up the menu ingame. im also im laptop too and so far as i can tell nobody other than semiserious99 has had an issue with keyboard input
Hi, I was having this same issue. Thanks OP for mentioning Razer Cortex - I exited all Razer apps and it fixed the problem for me 
Damm yea same thing for me look like it was the Razer apps for me as well
