reach does have a true skill system...

But instead of matching players of equal skill on both teams, it fills a collective quota for all the players of both teams.

For example: you enter a game the true skill system sets a quota of a collective level of 50 for both teams. As time goes, it can’t find players of a high enough skill level to fill this quota, so the quota drops to a lower level until it’s able to find enough players to fill it. Say it hits a true skill level 47 it matches me (a lv 40 probably) with three other teammates who’s skill levels are 3,2,2. The same happens for the other team. The finished result? You get a game likeThis. check their Kd’s, you’ll see that it support my theory.

I am not trying to stat check these guys, I’m am only trying to point out that the true skill system is flawed, and should be changed.

Also, when one team is searching in a party. the true skill system does not affect them.

Before any of you post crap like (OMG YOU JUST MAD CUZ YOU LOST.) I’m not mad at all. I knew I had lost before the game even started, but I toughed it out because i knew I could go positive in that game, which I did BTW.

As far as I know, TrueSkill is there, as it was in Halo 3, invisible, and not at sensitive for game finding as it was in Halo 3.

prove it

The fact I match up with new players who only got the game the same day while I am in a full party of people who have owned the game since September 14th 2010.

You can’t tell me that with your theory, we are getting matched up with TrueSkill levels of one on a common basis, it is just far from correct.

lol, that was childish

reach true skill system doesnt work, it just pulls together a game of however many people it needs, regardless of player skill and party size

Moa, you do realize that you jus refuted your own point, right?

What? asking him to prove something is actually there rather just believing it is there because he said it was? i just wanted him to support his claim (which he didn’t)

Is that why all of my teammates are constantly going negative?

My theory is that they had made a good ranking system that was visible but then it some how got deleted so bungie decided they would just say that its there just invisible. The face that I have played with a full party of inheritors in BTB and got matched against recruits, proves my point.

You have no direct evidence towards your claim either other than your own theory, so there is no need to try and shoot me down in flames without proper proof, from a Bungie employee on the matter.

Trueskill only exists in Arena…
