Howdy y’all, my name is Luke. i have a unusual request. Personally i would refrain from asking for something like this, but i am wondering if i would be able to have all the Reach armor unlocked for my profile please?
Doing something like this isn’t my cup of tea. A friend and i are in preproduction of a machinima project that is set in the Reach game. I do work the typical nine to five plus job that spans five days (six sometimes) of the week. which leaves me little time to try to unlock the armor myself, even when the season is available on the Chief Collection when juggling other aspects of life in between work, chores other projects and sleep. This Halo passion project is being spearheaded by me and is a story requiring the diverse design of the armors, for the characters specifications and armaments. Its just a shame that my unlocked armor from the 360 career details couldn’t be transferred, besides the Inheritor helmet i haven’t unlocked there yet.
i am a big Halo fan, this franchise being just as endearing as StarWars or Batman, etc.
if anyone who can help with this or someone who can share this with the proper people, thank you so much!
This isn’t something that’s possible. If you want to have all the armours, you need to unlock them yourself.
perhaps, but if this is something that can be forwarded to the higher ups about the situation, tech support or anyone with such ability. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
It’s not possible for 2 reasons - they no longer have the tech required to unlock items for these legacy games, that was retired a number of years ago. Additionally, they won’t unlock armor just because someone asks.
Edit: realised you’re talking about MCC and not legacy. My last point still stands.
That i am very skeptical on. If Mircosoft/Activision could give me the exp boost to being able to prestige in MW2 cause i literally asked them nicely for their legacy game (i got first kill of the game i got a million exp and the match ended with me being able to prestige coincidentally), same principle can be applied here. If they can implement the armor system in MCC there is a probable chance they can bestow the ability to unlock them due to special circumstances. Plus me myself have unlocked all the armor, save the haunted helmet in the 360 legendary edition of the game in the first place (they can check my record of the game to validate). Would help to warrant this request while working on their new game, which will have more right on there to deny this style of request.
With all due respect, if you have this ability to simply send the request up the ladder. That would be tremendous help. But if you’re either denying me out just because (if you even have that ability in the first place) or just trolling, we have nothing more to speak of.
Your request started out benignly enough and is something people have asked over the years. You were given the proper, and correct, response by a moderator and instead of accepting that response for what it is (the truth), you somehow weirdly doubled down and are getting aggressive.
There is zero call to try to lecture the moderator who has better insights into what we, being 343, can/will do for users as they’ve seen this question a dozen time over the many years of volunteer moderation.
I’m not really sure there was a need to boast about getting something from a completely different organization either as that has zero bearing on what WE can/will do for users.
But coming into our house and insinuating the moderator is trolling for giving you the correct answer is unacceptable behavior and I suggest you reconsider your approach in the future.
And to give a final answer – No. We will certainly not be giving you enough Season Points to unlock everything. You’ll need to unlock it yourself by playing the game.
