After having played a few games of the bot mode, I noticed the bots were wearing some Reach-era armor that was not yet available to use for customization. Seeing that these pieces were modeled and technically in the game got me excited for likely another reach season, but what I really hoped for was the addition of the other half of the remaining armor upon release of the full game. Wishful thinking, I know. But what I noticed today is that the SAP/MT shoulders were added to the game… in the shop. You mean to tell me I’m meant to pay for individual armor pieces for the armor core that I ALREADY had to pay for? How lame is that?!? Is that how the remaining half of the Reach armor is going to be released? I was disappointed some of my favorites like the Operator helmet and CQC shoulders were in the initial release, but there is no damn way I spend money to use them on armor I already payed for.
Yup, any reach set left out of the battlepass is going to be in the shop, this was leaked weeks ago.
Darn, I hadn’t seen that. I was accepting of another Reach season, since roughly half of the armor is there now it would make sense that the second half would fill another season. I was looking forward to bringing my classic spartan back but I guess I’ll have to let that idea go
Its very sad and scummy, reselling classic fan favourite armour thats been free for the last 10 years puts a bad taste in my mouth
This really rubs me the wrong way. On top of the stuff in the store being really overpriced, now I need to pay for items that I’ve earned by playing the game years ago? As someone with not a lot of money (also pretty against micros to begin with) this really feels like a slap to the face. At least Halo 5 had armour you could unlock by playing the game, it just was stupid grindy because of req packs.

There was a leak about another Reach season the other week. So some stuff might wind up in the shop, others might not.
At this stage I’m surprised they don’t charge real money to change basic game settings…

I dont mind them being in the shop but if you’re gonna have just a knife on the chest why not include another reach specific helmet in the bundle. It doesnt really feel like a 10 dollar bundle. Give me the damn haunted helmet or pilot helmet already.
Shame too, the operator helmet is my favorite as well. Also Carter’s shoulders are EXCLUSIVE ONLY to the armor kit which is incredibly stupid.
