I’m unsure what to make of this so I thought I’d make a post about it. Reading all that would be effected by sunsetting I seen Halo Reach Armor Customization would be effected.
Armor customization is an Offline feature as well as Online so I don’t understand what this means. How can customization be effected, can anyone explain?
I was confused about this when I first read it as well because, as you so rightly say, the armour can be earned offline too. I have since come to the conclusion that when they (343i) say that armour customisation would be affected that they didn’t mean all of it would be affected but rather only the Halo Waypoint armour (CQB and Military Police) would be affected.

Maybe, but I find that weird too because the Waypoint gear is already on the disc. Only the unlock is required from Waypoint.
I’d definitely would’ve loved it if 343i could’ve clarified some of these points in their blog
