Hey there! A quick Tl;dr: Yes, it’s possible. But you will need to grind a lot to get there by November/December.
In order to get to SR152, you need to acquire 50,000,000 total XP. So far, at rank 97, you have accumulated around 3,015,000 XP. I don’t know where in SR97 you are currently, but you still need around 46,985,000 XP to reach SR152.
There’s a spreadsheet online that helps calculate how much XP you need by November 15 (people say this could potentially be Halo Infinite’s release date as it would line up with Halo’s 20th Anniversary, but we won’t know until 343 gives us some more information. All we have now is Holiday 2021) But for now, in order to get to SR152 by November 15, you would need to acquire roughly around 335,600 XP per day, every day.
Is it possible? Yes, it is. But you will need to devote a LOT of time towards playing Halo 5, more specifically Mythic Warzone Firefight like other Spartans here have mentioned. You can play other game modes, but Mythic will earn you a ton of XP and REQ points for play time. There are also Legendary XP Packs that are purchasable in the store right now, which you should definitely buy if you have enough REQ points or want to use real funds instead.
If you decide to go for it, make sure you have a decent amount of REQs available to be able to make an impact in Mythic. Most of all, just remember to have fun and take care of yourself. Listening to music helps me a lot whenever I grind (I’m currently SR150, getting close) Take breaks when needed, play with people if possible, and do your best. Happy Hunting, Spartan.
You would probably need about 400,000 to 500,000 XP every day. It is difficult, but if you want to try it then go for it! Good luck!

While it is possible it isnt realistic. I grinded since 2016 and hit 152 earlier this month and can definitly say it wasnt fun. The amount of mythic ff you need to play is horrifying
(Mythic warzone firefight gives you the most exp, i always used random xp jackpots and the legendary ones and always put up a goal of hitting atleast 100.000 xp a day)

this guy has a spreadsheet that you can punch your rank in to see how many daily xp you would need. PLEASE NOTE the date he uses is a place holder. here are some other strats to use besides mythic firefight. I wil say tho, being at lvl 97, if your grinding for max, its gonna be a commitment
- you could also do quick coring, but that practice is pretty dead. you would need a decent team to get wins every 5 minuntes, as well as do it daily - you could also try quick loses on mythic firefight, however this is if you have a ton of legendary boosts. if you dont, its kind of worthless - furthermore, if you have a friend thats at 152, they could assist you in using the arena glitch, where you use warzone packs in arena games. issue is again boosts - I still need to test it, but ive also thought about a strat called “switch coring”. its essentially taking turns quick coring with another team, with the losing team being passive. i feel that if done right it could make a boat load of xp for you (like if each game (starting from search to next game) was 3-4 minutes, you would get something like 53k - 70k an hour WITHOUT BOOSTS). I’ve been trying to figure out ways to where you could get tons of xp without boosts…however the issue is you would need 24 players to grind with, as well as pitting with them every time which is why it hasnt been tested yet so for all i know its total dog water (cause if it is, I as a lvl 144 b quitting the grind lol)1 last thing, you can always go on microsoft and buy warzone xp booster packs…buuuuuut you would need 1k smackers to get to 50 million if you want to soly use them (works well with the arena glitch). or 500 if you use them with firefight (since a game of mythic firefight is equal to one pack). if you have the money, go for it, but i advise not. even if you buy one every time you run out of boosts, i wouldnt.

less then half actually. 150-151 is 11 million and 151-152 is 15 million. but honestly I agree. its far too much time to sink in for basically colors. (they say and more but i doubt it. plus 343 tend to let you be able to get it after launch, but just to be sure everyone is grinding for it now)
I just hope 343 will do like a 1000x weekend before the release of Infinite. I know it might take away from people who were on the hardcore 152 grind for 6 or so years, but it’s not about the competition for who can get there but about having the community band together to get people there.

It’s possible, but you’ll need to be grinding out firefight like a mad man.

Ah yeah, you are correct my math is a little off. My point is still that basically reaching rank 149 and onward is going to take you as long as it took to get there in the first place… which is crazy. And has the highest xp requirement out of any halo game so far… and another solid point most of the exclusive items at the start were eventually given out.
