How many times have you re-spawned only to be killed before you even know where you are that include being run over be a team mates ( I’ve lost count ) ?
Here’s an idea, why not make re-spawning player invulnerable for 3 seconds, that get them just enough time to workout where they are and a chance to dive for cover. With just three seconds your not going to be been to do much if you lucky you may throw a grenade or shot a couple of shots off but your not going much else?
3 seconds could make all the difference to re-spawning and re-dying ???

Spawn protection or better spawns. One of them should definitely be done.

They probably have tried with each Halo game, if you notice it also depends on map design, and the Halo. And it’s probably no that easy. So I agree with OP, so 2-3seconds and things wouldn’t be as much of a problem.

Changing the maps might not be a bad thing either.
