After seeing the show of the last Pay to Win topic earlier today, I wanted to give my own opinion.
A game simply can not be pay to win if you don’t instantly win with your purchase, getting special weapons… “Reqs”… may give you an advantage, if your good at the game and have some skill. Simply if your a noob and you buy, let’s say 25 gold packs, and your lucky and get a nornfang commendation , just getting that doesn’t mean you win every game, cause any enemy player can easily kill you and take the nornfang. What I am trying to say is buying gold packs doesn’t make H5 a pay to win game, but like most other games it is “Pay for a chance to win”.

To your first statement, that is my point, no game has ever gotten to that definition, and for your second your not getting what I mean, you can have an advantage yes, but if you can’t play you’ll lose that advantage quickly, that is what I was trying to say, not whatever you thought.
Your point is meaningless. You’re constructing a semantics strawman without actually refuting anything.
Yeah, someone could miraculously manage to -Yoink- up when given an extremely powerful weapon. That doesn’t change the fact they’re being given that weapon to begin with, or the fact that the weapon will give easy victories in the hands of an actually decent player.
Why are we even assuming anyone who buys weapons is going to be bad with them in the first place? What if they aren’t bad with the weapon? Then they’ve still paid for a major advantage, and they’re still going to win because of it. Hence the term “pay2win”. Just because you’re using a literal interpretation of the term that no one else is using doesn’t mean the term lacks merit.
You still don’t understand how WZ works, power weapons are mainly for killing spartans, try firing a nornfang at warden eternal, see where that gets you. WZ is about boas kills, cause at the end of the day, your 33 kills… is 33 points for your team, while the enemy team won cause they killed all the legendary bosses. I am stating that H5 buying gold req packs gives you a chance to win, not a certainty.

Well here is something to derail your theory.
You don’t need boss kills to win a wz game if you can triple cap and destroy the core. One team is pretty good with BRs, but the other team is using ultra banshees, Answers, and Whiplashes. Which team will most likely win given that the railgun ttk is quicker than a perfect 4 shot? Which team will hold their armory more efficiently? The one with basic loadout weapons or the team with answers? Which team will have more map control and an easier time taking out bosses. The foot soldiers or the fleet of ultra banshees?
It’s true that the weapons don’t guarantee a win, but they give a huge advantage. You’re refusing to accept that point.
All I’m saying is Pay2Win doesn’t literally mean you hand them a dollar and the game ends on the spot. That should be obvious to anyone actually trying to comprehend pay2win arguments, and anyone trying to treat it literally is just being difficult for the sake of being difficult.
Sorry to disappoint but I don’t really feel like ending his post. I will say though that there are Warzone weapons which make boss-kills easier. I know I’d rather approach hunters using a Scorpion than using an SMG.
